Vernae:

Hello, my beautiful souls, and welcome to your next episode of Listening Ears podcast, your go-to podcast for self-awareness and self-discovery. I'm your host, Vernae Bezear, and today we're digging into our inner strength. You have a reservoir of power within you and I'm here to help you tap into it. No matter where you are in life, there's a core of incredible strength waiting, just waiting to be unleashed. So buckle up and let's embark on this empowering journey together. Inner strength is a unique blend of mental and emotional fortitude. It's the courage to face adversity, the resilience to bounce back and the wisdom to learn and grow. It's not about how many weights you can lift at the gym. It's about lifting yourself, lifting yourself up when you're down. Your sources of strength can take on many forms. Some of these can be from past experiences, beliefs and values, personal achievements and talents, or someone inspiring that you have encountered in your life. Wherever they come from, they are part of you and your being. The only thing you have to do is tap into them. So here are just a few ways to harness the power of inner strength. Number one practice mindfulness or meditation. Find a quiet space, sit comfortably and focus on your breath for just five minutes. By doing this, it helps you connect with your inner self, reducing stress and enhancing your self-awareness. If you can build up to longer sessions or consider joining a meditation app or class. Number two embrace positive affirmations. Write down three affirmations that resonate with you, like I am strong or I believe in myself. By doing this, it rewires your brain to foster positivity and self-belief. You can repeat these affirmations daily in front of a mirror or by writing them down to internalize them fully. Number three set clear and achievable goals. Find one specific goal you want to achieve and break it down into small, actionable steps. By doing this, it provides direction and motivation. It can essentially turn your dreams into tangible actions. As you go on, regularly review and adjust your goals, make sure you celebrate your progress along the way and, finally, build a supportive community. Reach out to friends or family members who understand and support your journey. This fosters a sense of connection and support, two things that are essential for growth and resilience. Engage regularly with supportive communities, whether online or in person.
